Strong Winds Bring Down Tree

Strong winds likely helped bring down a tree and hydro wires in the Annex Thursday afternoon.

As the tree fell near Bloor Street West and Brunswick, it brought down hydro wires and a pole. The debris damaged a car, but no one reported being hurt.

Witnesses say the man who owns the car was planning on heading north this weekend.
