Driver’s licence extension ends Wednesday

The deadline set by the province for licence extensions because of last year’s DriveTest strike is Wednesday.
The examiners went back to work in early January but motorists were given until September 1 to book a test.
The Ministry of Transportation said there are about 51,000 licences province-wide that still need to be renewed.
