School Lockdowns End In Listowel

Schools were locked down in Listowel on Friday morning, with parents being told to keep their kids at home. Authorities are still looking for an armed suspect in the area, but lifted the restrictions on schools by the afternoon.
The OPP are looking for a male suspect in the area. He is armed and possibly dangerous.
Police later revealed that the suspect had allegedly been involved in an incident at a home in Stratford. He allegedly used a gun, but no shots were fired.
Officers are looking for Joshua Drummond, 19. He was spotted walking a pit bull type dog. Police plan to issue a warrant for his arrest.
While the lockdown at Listowel schools has ended, classes ended early and students were advised to go directly home.
