Over $2M in hash seized in Durham

It is being called perhaps the largest hash bust in the history of Durham Region after police seized more than $2.4-million worth of the drug and others from a Pickering home.
Police found the drugs on Sept. 9 at a home on Bayly Street – but, put them on display for the media on Tuesday.
George Kononow, 35, of Pickering, has been charged with multiple drug trafficking and weapons-related offences.
