Broken Water Main Shuts Down Finch During Morning Rush

A broken watermain shut down a busy route for much of the morning rush on Friday.

The eastbound lanes of Finch Avenue were closed to deal with the gushing water.

The pipe burst near Highway 27 just before 5am and was fixed by 7:30am. However, the clean-up took a lot longer and the road was shut down for much of the morning.
