The OPP tactical squad turned up empty-handed Thursday night after they raided a home in Vaughan.

Around 7:30pm, they descended on a property near Pine Valley Drive, north of the 407, looking for 30-year-old Ermal Sayla. Police have issued a warrant for his arrest.

The Caledon man is accused of threatening someone with a gun in Bolton last Friday, an incident which prompted police to lock down three nearby schools as a precaution.

The OPP officers had help from a police chopper and York Regional Police for Thursday night’s search.

They are asking anyone with information to contact them at 905-584-2241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
