Frost Warning Issued For GTA

It’s been a long time since we’ve had to deal with something like this.

After a long warm summer, fall is finally here – and it’s showing its colours with a vengeance.

For the first time since May, parts of southern Ontario are faced with a frost warning. Environment Canada issued the statement on Sunday because of a large Arctic high pressure system building over the province.

While we’ll see clear skies and calm winds, the temperatures will fall to near zero – or even slightly below.

That dip in the mercury will start in Halton Region and stretch up to York Region.Dufferin-Innisfil, Peel Region, Waterloo-Wellington, and Durham are also affected.

Meanwhile in Toronto, we’ll see low of 4C as we head into the work week.
