Gardiner closed overnight Thursday-Friday for bridge work

TORONTO, Ont. – The Gardiner Expressway will be closed overnight Thursday and Friday, and into early Saturday morning, for bridge rehabilitation work.

The closures are as follows:

  • Westbound lanes will be closed from Spadina Avenue to the Humber River from 11 p.m. on Thursday to 5 a.m. on Friday to install deck panels on the bridge at Dunn Avenue
  • Eastbound lanes will be closed from the Humber River to Spadina Avenue from 11 p.m. on Friday to 9 a.m. on Saturday to install deck panels on the bridge at Dunn Avenue

Motorists can use Queensway and Lake Shore Boulevard as alternative routes.

Also, the northbound Don Valley Parkway will be closed nightly from the Gardiner Expressway to Eglinton Avenue East from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. October 12-14 (Tuesday-Thursday) for pavement grinding.
