Johnny Depp Shows Up At London School Dressed As Capt. Jack Sparrow

For those who didn’t think Johnny Depp could get any cooler — he did this week.
Students in London, England, got a surprise on Wednesday when Depp visited Meridian Primary School. The actor greeted the kids, in character, clad in his Captain Jack Sparrow costume from the popular “Pirates of the Caribbean” films.
The kids had nine-year-old Beatrice Delap to thank for the visit. She sent Depp, 47, a fan letter in which she told him: “We are a bunch of budding young pirates and we’re having trouble mutinying against the teachers! We’d love it if you could come and help!”
Depp and four other cast members showed up and performed pirate songs and the kids responded with a song of their own.
“Alas, there was no walking the planks or adventures on the high seas but we all had a lesson on how to clean our teeth, the pirate way,” the school said on its website.
Depp is currently filming “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” at the Old Naval College in London.
