An Ontario cabinet minister accused Rob Ford of bigotry in a tweet Saturday.
Glen Murray, also the former mayor of Winnipeg, re-tweeted a comment from another user about Toronto’s mayoral race.
The tweet accused not only Toronto’s new mayor of bigotry but Ontario’s opposition leader Tim Hudak and Prime Minister Stephen Harper too.
In the legislature Tuesday, Hudak called the comment libellous and demanded premier Dalton McGuinty get Murray to apologize.
Premier McGuinty didn’t say he would ask Murray for an apology, saying politics can get heated.
