Motorist strikes cyclist, flees scene

Police in Halton are looking for a driver who struck a cyclist, seriously injuring her, and fled the scene.
It happened just after 7 p.m. Saturday on Derry Road, approaching Walkers Line in Milton.
The 53-year-old woman was cycling alone when the vehicle struck her, knocking her off the bicycle, police said.
The female was transported to a local hospital, where she remains.
Halton Regional Police Service officers believe the vehicle involved in the collision is a late model Ford F-150, which will have the passenger-side door mirror assembly missing.
