Top Toys For 2010

Though the remnants of Halloween are still visible, with pumpkins and fake cobwebs on many front porches, retailers are already gearing up for another holiday season.

The countdown to Christmas is on.

Today’s Parent has published their list of the top toys for 2010, and they’re all kid-tested. The magazine asked 54 families to shake, drum, strum, and play with the year’s newest gifts.

Not only that, all of the items for infants, toddlers and preschoolers were sent to the McMaster University Occupational and Environmental Health Laboratory in Hamilton for lead and cadmium testing. All of the top toys meet – and exceed – Health Canada standards.
