Stabbing At Riverdale Collegiate

One person has been taken to hospital after a stabbing at Riverdale Collegiate Institute Monday.

The victim, an 18-year-old male, suffered a serious stab wound to the leg.

The altercation possibly erupted from a dispute that took place earlier in the day.

It’s not yet known if the victim was a student at the school, but the stabbing did take place on school grounds.

Police have taken a 16-year-old male suspect into custody in connection with the stabbing. At this point, there’s no word on charges.
