Pedestrian Struck On Glencairn Avenue

A 23-year-old woman is in hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries after she was hit by a car on Glencairn Avenue.

The collision happened around 8pm on November 22 near Avenue Road.

Police believe the victim may have stepped into traffic from between two parked vehicles. A westbound Toyota then struck the victim.

“It appears that there were parked vehicles and because she didn’t cross at the corner, it looks like she may have stepped out between the stopped vehicles,” Cst. Hugh Smith said
