Public pat-downs not coming to Canada

The public pat-downs that have upset so many American air travellers won’t be coming to Canada.

Transport Minister Chuck Strahl said if anyone is singled out for a pat-down at a Canadian airport, they’ll be given the option of being inspected in a private room.

Strahl said Canadians have a right to be treated “properly and respectfully at airports.”
