Subway Service Resumes On Bloor/Danforth Line

Some public transit riders experienced a frustrating commute Wednesday.

Subway service was shut down between St. George and Broadview due to arcing underground wires and smoke at the Bloor station.

As well, there were similar delays on the Yonge line as trains bypassed Bloor station.

Shuttle buses were running.

The TTC announced that full service had been restored at 8:30am.
