A new season of “American Idol” starts Wednesday night.

Last season was Simon Cowell’s final appearance on the show as a judge.

This year, the show’s last original judge Randy Jackson is back, but with two new judges: Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.

Lopez feels they will bring something different to the show.

Jackson feels the pair will fit in well in finding this year’s newest Idol winner.

The two-hour premiere starts at 8 p.m.
