The latest freeze and thaw cycle is wreaking havoc on Toronto’s already rough roadways.
With temperatures fluctuating, potholes are popping up all over the city. Toronto employs 80-100 workers who are currently on pothole patrol.
Fixing each pothole is no cheap task. Each one costs about $25 bucks and the city spends about $6 million a year on repairs.
In 2010, 179, 000 repair jobs were completed. Officials promise to have the work done within four days of a pothole being reported.
