All-Day Breakfast: Surf’s up

What’s that old Tom Hanks line again: “There’s no crying in basketball?”

Right, it was baseball he was talking about, which makes Sunday’s tear-fest in Miami perfectly acceptable.

Following another tough loss to an Eastern Conference power–this time a 87-86 defeat at the hands of the Bulls, it was reported that in the Miami locker room some players shed frustrated tears.

Even the usually mild-mannered Dwyane Wade seemed to throw a minor hissy-fit.

“The Miami Heat are exactly what everyone wanted, losing games,” Wade said. “The world is better now because the Heat is losing.”

Maybe not better D-Wade, but certainly more entertaining.

Oh, and LeBron: A-Rod is willing to help out. Just give him a shout.

On to Monday’s sides…
