Hamilton residents arrested in connection to Niagara region home invasion

WEST LINCOLN, Ont. – Two Hamilton residents have been arrested in connection with a home invasion robbery in the Niagara region last month.

Meanwhile, Niagara region police have issued an arrest warrant for a third suspect.

Police said two men and a woman broke into a West Lincoln home on Feb. 6 and assaulted the resident, who suffered minor injuries.

Police said a month later on March 6, one of the two men returned to the home, but his attempt to break in a second time was unsuccessful.

Police said the attacks were not random.

Kirk Swing, 47, and Jacqueline Demurak, 41, of Hamilton are charged with breaking and entering, forcible confinement and robbery.

James Hoffman, 23, of Hamilton is wanted on several charges, including robbery, assault and unauthorized use of a credit card.
