TORONTO, Ont. – Spring officially arrives on Sunday at 7:21 p.m.

While we may feel this season has been never ending, 680News meteorologist Harold Hosein said it started off well.

“We headed into winter expecting [it] to be colder than normal, with higher than normal snowfall, but in December, the snowfall was actually much lower and rainfall only slightly higher than normal,” he said.

This winter included several bizarre weather days, including 12C on New Year’s Day.

Although it may seem like the snow shovel was always in use, we actually only received seven centimetres more snow than normal.
