Spring will arrive Sunday evening … Or will it?

TORONTO – The Spring season is set to arrive on Sunday at 7:21 p.m. and while some are ready to ditch the winter gear, Mother Nature is saying, not too fast!

680News meteorologist Harold Hosein said you may want to hold off for a little while before dusting off your patio set.

“By Tuesday night we will be down to around -6C or so and the cold temperatures will continue for several days.”

“In fact, we could even see a little bit of snow on Wednesday.”

Hosein said we will not be seeing those double-digit temperatures for at least another week and one woman told 680News that she remains prepared for everything.

“I am still bundled up! I am a little too practical to tuck it away for now.”

Torontonians may want to hold onto an umbrella too. Earlier this month, Environment Canada released their spring forecast. They said we can expect the spring months to be cooler and wetter than average.
