Sony reveals hackers hit 24 million additional PlayStation user accounts

The Sony Corporation revealed Monday hackers had hit an additional 24 million PlayStation user accounts.

Last month, a security breach compromised personal information for 77 million people.

The company found out about the additional data loss as they investigated the initial breach. The digital intruder obtained account information, including user names, birthdates, log-in information and email addresses. Purchase histories and credit card billing addresses may have also been stolen

The break-ins happened between April 16 and 19.
