TCHC begin voting for tenant representatives

TORONTO, On. – Residents of Toronto Community Housing Corportation begin voting today for two tenants who will represent them on the board of the public agency.

The last two directors lost their jobs when Mayor Rob Ford took action following a pair of audits, revealing spending problems.

The 164,000 tenants have until Friday to vote for two directors and two alternates, The Toronto Star reported.

City council will vote on their choices next month.
