Toronto police are hoping security video will be able to help them track down a suspect who robbed a ticket collector’s booth at Dupont subway station earlier this month.
Investigators say a suspect carrying a gun and wearing a mask walked into Dupont station around 9:30 p.m. on June 11.
He demanded and got an unspecified amount of cash from the agent before taking off on foot. He ran north on Spadina Avenue towards Davenport Road.
The suspect is described as white, 40-45 years old with a heavy build. He was wearing a dark hat and jacket and surgical mask covering the lower half of his face. He was carrying a gym bag.
Anyone with information is asked to contact 14 Division police at (416) 808-1400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
