Woman injured by falling concrete near Yonge & Dundas

A woman was injured by a piece of falling concrete at Dundas and Victoria streets Friday.
The accident happened around 2 p.m. in front of a building on Dundas Street East undergoing some exterior renovations.
The woman was struck in the head, and was bleeding but was conscious. She was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital for treatment.
Police have closed a stretch of sidewalk and the curb lane for their investigation.
The Ministry of Labour will also be investigating the situation.
