Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad disputes 9/11 history

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad disputed 9/11 history while in New York for the United Nations General Assemblyon Thursday.

Ahmadinejad said that, as an engineer, he was certain two planes could not have brought down New York City’s twin towers. Instead, Ahmadinejad claimed, a planned explosion must have taken place.

He stopped short of saying the United States was behind the disaster, which claimed more than 3,000 lives.
