TORONTO, Ont. – Eleven people are reported to have been injured at the “Resident Evil: Retribution 3D” movie set in Toronto, Tuesday.
Toronto EMS reported they fell off of a platform about 8 a.m. at the Cinespace Film Studios, located at 777 Kipling Ave., north of the Queensway.
This is the fifth installment of the video game-to-movie franchise, starring Milla Jovovich.
EMS said the 11 injured were taken to local hospitals, two of them on backboards.
Officials said it was more difficult to assess the injuries because the victims were in dressed in their zombie character costumes.
None of the patients were taken to trauma centres, so their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
So far, the film company has not issued a statement.
