Ford not happy with “This Hour Has 22 Minutes” surprise visit

TORONTO, Ont. – Mayor Rob Ford isn’t laughing after a surprise visit by “This Hour Has 22 Minutes.”
Ford got a big surprise at his home in Etobicoke Monday morning.
“I’m up for the games, I have no problem; I’m open to the media. But, to come to my private house, early in the morning, and ambush me, I think that crosses the line,” Ford said.
The mayor said he called 911, but likely didn’t realize that the CBC’s “This Hour Has 22 Minutes” thrives on ambushing people.
Comedian Mary Walsh has done it before as her character Marg Delahunty, targeting some high-profile politicians.
The Ford episode will air Tuesday night.
