The 20-year-old Raonic is currently ranked 31st in the world after beginning 2011 ranked 156th.

On February 13, he captured his first ATP World Tour title in San Jose at the SAP Open vs. defending champ Fernando Verdasco. With the victory, he became the first Canadian to win an ATP World Tour title in 16 years. During the run, Raonic didn’t lose a set en route to the title. He finished the week with a tournament high 58 aces in four matches.
