Man shot in east end

Toronto police are investigating after a 20-year-old man was shot in the east end on Tuesday morning.

The victim is expected to survive.

He was shot in the back and shoulder around 1:30 a.m. on Canlish Road, near Birchmount Road and Lawrence Avenue, and taken to hospital.

The suspect may have fled the scene in a grey car.
