Driver charged after rollover in East York

A man in his 20s was charged after his car flipped and landed on a front lawn in East York early Sunday morning.
It happened around 7 a.m. on O’Connor Drive near Don Mills Road.
Police charged the man with careless driving and suspended his G2 graduated licence for three days.
They say alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The man, who was the only one in the car at the time, was not seriously hurt.
Meanwhile, several people were taken Etobicoke General Hospital following a rollover on Highway 427 near Derry Road.
The single-vehicle crash occurred around 4 p.m. and police had the highway closed until about 5 p.m. as they investigated.
No one was seriously injured.
