Snow blanketed the GTA on Thursday, which isn’t normally a rare sight in January, but in this unseasonably warm month, it’s reason enough to dust off the camera.
Environment Canada said as a band of snow passes through southern Ontario, visibility could be less than one kilometre and wind gusts could near 60 km/h.
“We’re seeing very active weather and that band is developing from Oakville down to Brantford,” CityNews weather specialist Sangita Patel said.
“The clipper is going to push towards the east, towards Georgian Bay.”
