TORONTO, Ont. – A small group of Occupy protesters are camped out near Toronto City Hall, Thursday, and it’s not clear how long they plan to stay.
They have pitched tents at the provincial courthouse, located next to City Hall.
Around 10 tents are set up on a fairly busy walkway.
Torontonians have mixed views about the return of Occupy protesters.
“These people have nothing better to do than complain. Why don’t they do something about it?,” one man asked.
“As long as they’re peaceful,” one woman said.
The protesters have been outside the courthouse since Tuesday’s budget vote at City Hall, and since they are on provincially-owned land, they said the city can’t force them out.
