Crash sends SUV into building at University & Adelaide

A two-vehicle crash sent an SUV through the front window of a coffee shop at University and Adelaide Street Monday morning.
The accident happened around 7:15 a.m. when the two vehicles collided, sending the SUV off of the road and into a Second Cup on the southeast corner of University and Adelaide. The other car involved took out the control box for traffic lights at the intersection.
The driver of the SUV was taken to hospital as a precaution, but no serious injuries were reported.
