A Scarborough family is terrified after their home and the house next door was hit by bullets.
“We’re feeling very uncomfortable in our own homes and we feel that’s not right,” said one homeowner Ruth, who would only give her first name and asked to have her identity hidden.
On Friday night, police say shots were fired into a home on Wickson Trail, in the Neilson and Sheppard area. On Saturday night, shots were again fired into the home and the one next door.
“We’re wondering are they looking for somebody and if they don’t get the person and if they don’t get the person are they going to continue and how long are they going to continue for,” said Ruth.
No one was hurt in the incidents. A police officer is on scene, standing guard and monitoring the scene.
“This is a random act of violence and unfortunately at this time we don’t have suspects,” said Det. Vanessa Ward.
