TORONTO, Ont. – Environment Canada’s three-month forecast calls for above normal temperatures until May.
And this will certainly go down in the books as one of the warmest winters on record.
The average for this time of year is about -2 C with snow. But, on Tuesday, the temperature sat around 10 C.
Climatologists said the milder weather is due to the la Nina effect and an uncommonly high jet stream keeping the cold Arctic air up north.
