Apartment building evacuated in Etobicoke due to fire

Dozens of residents of a three-story apartment building in Etobicoke are still waiting to get the all clear to go back inside after a fire Monday morning.

It started in a unit in the building on Birchlea Avenue in the area of Kipling and Lakeshore around 4:30 a.m.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

No one was hurt.
