Woman dies after crash in Simcoe County

A 29-year-old woman is dead after a crash in Simcoe County.

Around 7:20 p.m. Sunday, the woman was driving westbound on Highway 88 approaching the 400 when police say her car crossed the centre lane, collided with a pickup truck, and landed in a ditch.

She died at the scene.

The man driving the pickup was not hurt.

The police have not released any names.
