Holland approves plans for on-call euthanasia team

Health officials in Holland have given the go-ahead to plans for an on-call euthanasia team to help people die at home.

The Telegraph newspaper reports that the mobile unit is set to be launched next month.

This team would be the first in the world to carry out assisted suicides when family doctors refuse to give patients lethal drugs.
