Despite only starting six games for the New York Knicks, Jeremy Lin has taken the sports world by storm.
The 23-year-old point guard set an NBA record by scoring 136 points in his first five NBA starts. He hit a last-second three-pointer to defeat the Toronto Raptors in dramatic fashion on Tuesday, and Lin jerseys are flying off the shelves all over the globe.
Perhaps the only thing more impressive than his early success on the court, is the excitement he’s causing off it. Atop of that list is how quickly Lin’s name has become part of the everyday sports vernacular.
