Stephen Colbert to return to ‘Colbert Report’

Comedian Stephen Colbert is expected to be back in the chair on Monday to resume taping of his late-night show.
Comedy Central abruptly halted production of “The Colbert Report” last Wednesday, because of the ailing health of his 91-year-old mother.
Friday, Colbert tweeted a message to fans, saying: “My family and I would like to thank everyone who has offered their thoughts and prayers. We are grateful and touched by your concern.”
