Man charged with attempted murder following Brampton shooting

Peel police have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant following a shooting in Brampton that left one man in hospital.

Ryan Coleman, 22, is accused of attempted murder in the Feb. 6 incident.

Police say Coleman got into a fight with another man on Duffield Road, near Chinguacousy Road and Sandalwood Parkway, around 9:25 p.m.

The argument escalated, police said, and Coleman shot the other man. The man remains in hospital in critical condition.

Police are still looking for Coleman. He’s described as black, five feet ten inches tall, with short black hair.

He’s considered armed and dangerous. Police are warning the public not to approach him, and to call 911 if you see him.
