Pedestrian killed in Brampton crash

A pedestrian has died after a crash in Brampton on Thursday night.

Peel police say the collision happened at Bovaird Drive and Mountainash Road around 6:40 p.m.

The 67-year-old man was struck by a vehicle and rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the 2006 Chevy Uplander involved in the crash, a 46-year-old man, stayed on the scene. He wasn’t injured.

Police are looking for witnesses.
