Man charged in connection with sexual assault

TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have charged a 24-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault on Feb. 21.

Police said the suspect responded to an online ad, which was posted by a 20-year-old woman who was looking for work.

The suspect is alleged to have lured the woman to his Toronto apartment to conduct an interview with the prospect of employment.

Once in his home, police believe the man sexually assaulted the woman.

Ameer El-Azmi has been charged with sexual assault.

Police believe there may be more victims.
