Leafs’ MacArthur’s hit on Ellerby questionable

The Toronto Maple Leafs can add another issue to their current problems.
Clarke MacArthur received a two-minute boarding penalty during the second period of Tuesday’s game for his hit on Florida Panthers defenceman Keaton Ellerby.
The hit could earn MacArthur a call from NHL discipline czar Brendan Shanahan and possibly lead to a suspension.
The Leafs have been under scrutiny, going 2-7-1 heading into the NHL Trade Deadline. The day came and went without the club making any significant moves to help them reach the playoffs for the first time in eight years.
