Justin Bieber turns 18 Thursday, and the birthday celebrations are already rolling out for the Canadian star.
In honour of Bieber’s March 1st birthday, dedicated fans or “Beliebers” will try to break a Guinness World Record for “Most Social Media Messages Within 24 Hours.”
And in keeping with the birthday spirit, Hallmark will release a series of Justin Bieber greeting cards this April.
Fans will get to see Bieber on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday for what’s being touted as a “spectacular celebration.”
Bieber will also make an appearance on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on his birthday. And not to be outdone, Madame Tussauds is unveiling another wax figure of the superstar.
Bieber was discovered in 2008 after posting videos on YouTube. Bieber’s debut single, One Time, was released in 2009 and peaked in the top ten in Canada and charted in the top thirty in several international markets.
His debut album, My World, followed in November 2009, and was soon certified platinum in the United States. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut album chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
