Building evacuated after fire near Downsview

One person was treated for smoke inhalation after an early-morning fire near Downsview Park.

Around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, flames engulfed the main floor of a low-rise on Vinci Crescent, near Wilson Avenue and Allen Road.

Fire crews evacuated the building, and residents took shelter on a TTC bus.

The victim was taken to North York General Hospital.

No one else was hurt.
