Report: Canadiens’ Price has concussion

MONTREAL — Radio-Canada Sports is reporting that Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price has a concussion and may miss the final three games of the season.

The network says it was informed of Price’s condition by David Mulder, the team’s doctor.

Price did not take part in the team’s practice on Monday.

He played in last Friday’s loss to the New York Rangers before making way for Petar Budaj the following night.

On the plus side for the Canadiens, Scott Gomez, Mathieu Darche and Travis Moen participated in Monday’s practice after all being out injured for more than three weeks.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether any of them will be ready for Wednesday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Habs, who have been eliminated from playoff contention, close out the season with games Thursday in Carolina and Saturday at home against Toronto.
