Barrie GO train line back on track after freight train problem

An accident involving a freight train caused problems for some travellers on GO Transit’s Barrie line Monday morning.
Trains from Barrie werem’t stopping at York University due to the problem, forcing passengers who wanted to get off at York to transfer to a shuttle bus at the Rutherford GO station.
The problem cleared around 8 a.m.
GO Transit described the problem as a freight train derailment. There are reports the incident with the CN train involved some downed wires.
